TED Tuesday! Kakenya Ntaiya – “A girl who demanded education”

A few days ago, on International Women’s Day, a male friend of mine pondered the question of why we should have a day for women. I guess it’s arguable, but I’d say this talk, the fact that women in many parts of the world are the owned and abused backbone of society who must beg for education, dignity and the right to determine their own destinies, would be a pretty good place to start.
